Summary/Abstract: The language is the most important part of the communication among people, the centre of all cognitive activity, in which all the cognitive processes are reflected. At today’s stage of development of the linguistics the centre of the whole contemporary linguistic science puts more and more attention to the comparative analysis of languages. One of the current directions of the comparative linguistics is the cognitive linguistics vs particular surveys of concepts. Scientific surveys have shown that love in the Ukrainian, Russian and Polish paroemiology presents itself in a similar way as it is an universal phenomenon. The concept of “love” shows fundamental values, in which we can find main beliefs, principles and life goals.
