Political joke in Ukrainę as a fusion two linguistic-cultural space - a sketch o f the problem

Summary/Abstract: The subject of this article is to describe the strategy to create political humour with elements of fusion of two linguistic-cultural space. The object of this research is chosen political jokes, functioning in the mass-media in Ukraine. The way the task has become a comparative statement of captured examples of these jokes and explore how to use the strategy of language and cultural fusion. As a result, the study failed to establish that the presentation of the linguistic-cultural fusion can be an effective strategy not only for political jokes, but also in any other type of humorous text (including, in literature), and the novelty of the presented task was fairly reliable indication the possibility of separating the subtype of the Ukrainian political joke just because of the use of its components signalled by the merger.
