Information systems in functional troubleshooting of enterprises transport-forwarding – research results

Summary/Abstract: Improving the quality of services in the transport-forwarding is associated largely with the use of modern methods of management, necessary adaptations to these tools in the form of systems and to provide reliable information to customers at every stage of execution services. Modern systems management support are a considerable assist in streamlining processes in the enterprise, enhance information flow, reduce the possibility of error and reduce the operation time and relieve human by automating repetitive tasks, which in turn translates into the quality of services provided. The publication discusses the role and importance of information systems in logistics services and on the basis of the most frequently used by enterprises freight forwarding information systems, taking into account functional problems occurring in the industry. This article aims to analyze the impact of information systems on eliminating functional problems enterprises in the transport and shipping.
