Summary/Abstract: The author points out to the numismatic discoveries from the territory of the Republic of Moldova from 2008 and to some older discoveries which were left unregistered in the earlier numbers of the chronicle. Among the discussed issues are the objects acquired by the museum, those brought for identification by the archaeologists, and a few from the private collections. The adornments uncovered together with the coins are mentioned and the finds from Bucovina and the southern region between Prut and Dniester were integrated as well. Are remarked among the antic coins a Histrian object (found at Caimaclia), an aureus from Herennia Etruscilla (Morenii Vechi) and a siliqua from Constantius Gallus (Nişcani). For the medieval period were registered four treasures, two of which are of exceptional importance: Alcedar, the first deposit of cufic coins (associated with Byzantine objects and adornments) discovered in the Republic of Moldova, and Ineşti, the first deposit with silver Tatar issues from the times of Tokta (1289-1312) discovered in the Republic of Moldova (and the second from the regions between Prut and Dniester, after the great treasure found at Cetatea Albă in 1904).
