Summary/Abstract: This paper compares J. J. Rousseau's Emile to narratives in the Book of Dede Korkut in terms of educational philosophy. The libertarian approach that Rousseau aims to return to the nature from the repressive education model is in fact a rejection of the Christianity belief that the child is born sinful. Depending on the fact child is good by his nature, Rousseau simply aims the society expressed in Dede Korkut’s Book by embracing the educational process suitable for the natüre. We have subjected this interesting analogy on the basis of integrity of education and training on an analytical argumentation.
