Summary/Abstract: The two basic social demands from both the Orange Revolutiona nd EuroMaidan have been to stop corruption and the oligarchy as well as to take the country along a European path. Since 2014 the reform process in Ukraine has continued, albeit at a slowpace. The success of the reforms, however, relies not only on political developments, but on the presumption that Ukraine continues to exist as a state and that the ongoing conflict in the eastern region does not spill over into more territories.
