Summary/Abstract: The Author of the article presents the most important aims of education in the 21st century which should be followed by teachers who work aslibrarians. The Author elaborates both on legal basis of teacher’s education andon the presentation of practical solutions applied at the Department of the Libraryand Information Science (Department of Informatology and Bibliologysince July 2016) at the University of Lodz. The Author concentrates on someforms of work with students and active teaching methods which will projectinto bigger activation of the pupils at schools.
