Summary/Abstract: The article deals with two names preserved on bronze objects found in the territory of Roman Dacia. The Talio f(ecit) stamp was found on a product created in Gaul and found in Târgu-Secuiesc. Although the publishers of this text believed that the name Talio could be Greek, linguistic analysis - coupled with extralinguistic evidence - gives enough grounds to interpret it as Gallic. The situation is more complicated with another stamp found in Răcătău on an object which is directly associated with the Roman region of Campagna. Although there are dozens of Celtic names in Campagna (including bronze articles), and the name Oppius may have Celtic etymology, it would not be entirely correct to relate it unconditionally to the Gallic linguistic remains - again, given many extralinguistic data. Therefore, the name on this stamp is considered only as "potentially Celtic". As for the identical name in the inscription from Gornea, which does not contain additional Celtic associations, it is inappropriate to include it in the corps of Celtic names known on the territory of Dacia.
