Late residential compounds of the early medieval settlement Rudi

Summary/Abstract: The present article describes four most late dwellings unearthed in 1983 at the trading quarter of the Old Russian site Rudi-Farfuria Turcească. Major part of the monument was revived in the previous publications. Analysis of the ceramic material and some other finds from the filling of the late residential compounds enable to establish the upper chronological limits of being for the whole settlement. It can’t be later the 11th c. and dates back to the 12th-13th centuries which has been expressly or by implication confirmed by a variety of facts.
