Summary/Abstract: The article contains theoretical and empirical considerations on the life of young people in the network who are nicknamed digital natives. These are the people who are staying online all the time. They want everything here and now. They live fast and without limitations, because the virtual world allows them to combat any problems, they can just type it in their Google browser. The author also studied the properties of a specific language networks which is understood only by the Internet users. Its main features are dialogism, spontaneity, colloquiality, hypertextuality and hierarchy. The aim of this article is to determine the functioning of a young man in a virtual space and to set advice that can help both teachers and parents to get to know the world in which their pupils are plunged. The confirmations of theoretical considerations are the results of the study on the media and its impact on young people, which shows that the network is an integral part of the life of every individual in a society. The virtual world is slowly becoming a real world. Social gatherings are transferred to rooms and amenities of the screen.
