Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research was to show the influence of trust in organizations on inter-organizational relationships’ (IORs) outcomes. We use interdisciplinary perspective in trust conceptualization, which is quite rare approach. We researched interpersonal trust (psychological variable) of managers responsible for IORs and their teams and also organizational trust – calculative and relational (economic variable), which builds relational competence of a company. The sample was 210 medium and big Polish companies and their 1196 employees. The results show weak and moderate, but relevant relations of IORs outcomes and interpersonal trust, especially teams’ trust. Managers’ trust appears to be a catalyst of teams’ trust. Mediation and path analyses confirmed statistically relevant mediation of organizational trust in relation of interpersonal trust and IORs’ outcomes.
