Summary/Abstract: At the beginning of the article author argues general issues concerning crime in Japan. In the next part he explains factors impact on progress the corruption and crimes such as White Collar Crimes. Author also describes organization of prosecution in Japan and Poland according to new Polish prosecution act passed on 28th January 2016. Furthermore two main legal rules are compared: opportunism and legalism. The summary points out cultural differences and their influence on a legal system.
