Summary/Abstract: The work actualizes the question of the structure of individual conversations. Several methods are available to an educator, so that his work could be good and productive. Under the method of conversation, an educator’s individual approach to student is implied. A series of questions is set up to find out how to make better use of time during the conversation with a student: what is the optimum duration of the conversation, what topics are addressed during the conversation, what is the purpose of the conversation and should different goals be set for each school year, how to monitor the progress of students, assuming they have been given tasks to be accomplished in the period between the two conversations, and what is the recommended period between the two conversations. The work presents the answers to some of these questions. Since the conversation is a form of communication, the work elaborates the issue of verbal and non-verbal communication.
