Summary/Abstract: The collocation “the End of the Cold War” is, by the frequency of its use in the last two decades, in politicians’ language, in the context of international relations and also in specialised literature of occidental origin, a reality to be considered. Signalling the End of the Cold War is differently perceived depending on what is understood from its content but also on the perspective of analysis of the respective changes.
