Summary/Abstract: Heinrich Böll Foundation Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with BiH partner organisations Sarajevo Open Centre and CURE Foundation, has been implementing Coming out! Advocating Promotion and Protection of LGBT Rights project during 2013 and 2014. This is the first project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, financed by the European Union, which is fully devoted to advocating the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons. Over the last two years, the project worked through different components that can be categorised as the following key areas: research, education, informing and raising awareness, and advocacy. The project worked with political parties, health sector, police, judiciary, education, media, civil society organisations, as well as LGBT persons.
