Conception of Musical Creativity in the Context of Research on Musical Activity

Summary/Abstract: Scientific literature analysis on the conception of musical creativity and a research on musical creativity in the context of musical activity are provided in the article. The expression of musical creativity in such musical activities as music making, improvising, arranging, playing were analysed. The links between musical creativity and engagement in a particular musical activity were found. On the basis of literature overview the definition of musical creativity was formulated and provided at the end of the article
