Summary/Abstract: Within Renaissance tragedies, we find a subtle play on dramatic time which, at times, flows fast or seems to be stretched or discontinuous. Alterations in these lengths of times, as they are perceived and expressed by the characters, give rise to a time which is felt and lived as a personal experience. The representation of these temporal experiences points to the condition of the protagonists, as well as the world vision in which plays could convey to their public.
