Summary/Abstract: Child neglect in legal terms in migration families is a widespread social problem.The article is an appeal that the author addresses to migrating parents on behalf of theirchildren, often left in the country without legal guardianship. Furthermore, it refers to theresponsibility of teachers, pedagogues and other specialists on informing parents who aregoing abroad to work about the consequences of not ensuring legal guardianship to theirchildren during their absence from home and how they can protect themselves from thesepotential consequences. It needs to be emphasized, that parents are not always aware ofthe threats related to leaving children without legal guardianship, therefore, all efforts shouldbe made to improve their awareness of the mentioned problem.Child neglect in legal terms in migration families is a widespread social problem.
