Summary/Abstract: The first government of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, when confronted with enormous expences related to financing the Army that participated in the First World War, had used illegal forms of reducing the public debt. Value of the national currency dinar was kept preserved due to financial support of the Alliance member states (Great Britain, France, and the United States).
