Summary/Abstract: In the present article, Facebook was treated not only as a social networking site, but also a dynamic social phenomenon, requiring extensive reflection. In the first part Facebook has been characterized and described as a phenomenon. Then discussed his possibilities and phenomena occurring on the portal. A large part of them concerns lookism, strict canons of beauty or existing portal hard rules of the game. It was also described ways of functioning in the Facebook and the need for fejm, as well as the positive evaluation from friends.
