Summary/Abstract: This article examines theoretical points of a pedagogical concept of Andreas Fröhlich and its use in pedagogical practice. It explains fundations of a stimulation, starting from the functioning of people with profound intellectual disabilities. The article demonstrates how to organize a workplace in order to perform basal stimulation and how to plan the work with a child. It discusses a case study of a child taking part in an individual exercises based on the basal stimulation, from initial diagnosis to the presents.
