Summary/Abstract: This article introduces the topic of forms of address in Bulgarian in comparison to the Czech language. In this research we provide a comparative analysis of the conditions and patterns of use of forms of address in Bulgarian and Czech by revealing the linguistic particularities, starting with the specifics of the category. The text also touches upon the specificity of the Vocative case. The authors’ ideas relating to the issues of the status and use of this case are outlined.
