Summary/Abstract: In this work I have tried to present issues associated with organization and functioning of the health security systems, which are components of the critical infrastructure. Importance of this issue is emphasized within new forms of terroristic attacks and modern model of conducting war, based on precise destroying of these elements, on which depends effective functioning of state. The objective of this paper was to draw attention to actual sanitary and epidemic risks, especially in the region of the Middle Europe.
