Health condition of children and adolescents in Poland

Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the most serious and frequent health problems among children and adolescents in Poland, as well as its sources and prospects for the future. Selected issues related to health condition of children and adolescents are discussed: trends in their physical and motor developments, subjective health status, health behaviours, mortality, main health problems (injuries, psychosocial health problems, chronic diseases, obesity, dental caries, disabilities, cancer, infectious diseases, disorders of vision, hearing and motor systems).
