Summary/Abstract: The subject of the work is theoretical and practical issues of local government budgets’ financial stability.The research goal is to determine principles matrix method of cluster evaluation of the current and medium termlocal government budgets’ financial sustainability, synthesis and comparison foundations of assessment financial stability by integrated and cluster matrix method.Methodology of work. The work is carried on the study of contemporary domestic and foreign views on the assessment of financial stability of local budgets. The work used the following methods: a method of peer review, analysis, comparison, synthesis, induction, deduction, etc.Result of the work is the scientific article, which highlights the results of the assessment of financial stability of local budgets by the method of integral coefficient and by the matrix method of cluster assessment financial stability of local budgets.Area of application the results. Financial support for local government. Conclusions. In conditions of economic reforms is significant scientifically-based assessment methodology of medium-term financial sustainability of local budgets, that promotes a balanced determining of a financial state of administrative units and the effective management of local finances. Matrix method of cluster assessment of financial stability provides a consistent assessment of compliance of financial self-sufficiency coefficients, funding for economic development that will increase manageability of management system of local finances.
