Summary/Abstract: The article presents a few remarks on equitable law. The author of the article bases his new substantial theory of equitable law on the following values: truth, good, fairness and dignity of man. The work discusses the meaning of these values, and then argues they should be accounted for both in legislative activities (in law-making) and in law application, so that law (a norm or norms) and decisions are equitable. The author also emphasizes that equity is ‘an instance’ that can protect the man and his dignity – the dignity of man.
