Making changes in the organization – new perspective and challenges for modern managers

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the new perspective of the consideration of the change in the organization, that is organization capacity for change. Selected definitions and dimensions of organization capacity for a change, and challenges facing managers in the process of transformation and change management were also presented. The article highlights the need to combine managers’ technical knowledge on the proposed changes with the psychological knowledge, which allows us to understand the behavior of people in the change process.
