Summary/Abstract: The obligation to submit preventive vaccination is stipulatedin provisions of the Act on Preventing and Combating Infections and Infectious Diseasesamong People. A producer of a vaccine may be liable for damage caused by a hazardousproduct. It is possible to claim compensation for damages against a doctor,a nurse, a pharmacist or a producer under provisions regarding tort liability. The StateTreasury could be liable since the vaccinations are mandatory, and since the State Treasuryacts in an authoritative in the sphere of medical service. Determining the scopeof legal responsibility of a particular entity requires an analysis of all circumstances ofa given caser and may usually require filling a statement of claim.
