Summary/Abstract: Music, according to Hans Urs von Balthasar, can most reach human’s emotions. Artreflects our greatness and weakness. In a theologist’s opinion it is God, who breathedart into human’s souls, it is the greatest gift which man received from God. The role ofan artist should be to serve others. On the one hand music tries to find a form of a metaphysicaldimension, on the other it expresses things which are low and conceivable. Inmusic, as it is in religion, man becomes touched by what is invisible. Beauty present in theworld and in human’s works leads to the discovery of God’s source.
