Summary/Abstract: This article is about the history of regular meetings which are organized on advantage of Folklor/Edebiyat Journal in order to announce the publication of journal. These meetings have been hold since volume 82 which was a special issue about Sedat Veyis Örnek who was the predecessor of folklore in Türkiye and the issue was conveniently published as an outcome and blueprint of a project titled “TÜBİTAK SOBAG 114K576 A Study on Oral History, Biography and Online Archive of Sedat Veyis Örnek”. In fact, the story of this endeavor is dated to 2015 in which our project team decided to have a meeting in Sivas Cumhuriyet University on 22 May 2015 with the support of Ankara University Folklore Student Association and Metin Turan who is the publishing coordinator of the journal. This was the beginning of regular meetings of each new issue of the journal and the next meeting was held for volume 83, which was the special issue of “New Media Studies”, in Ankara on 23 October 2015 with the organization of Ankara University Folklore Student Association. The arrangement of volume 84 meeting was managed by Ankara University Folklore Student Association, and it was attained in Ankara at Erimtan Archeology and Arts Museum on 18 March 2015. Volume 85 was the last issue of the journal and the meeting was arranged by Folklore Student Association in Ankara University Elmadağ ÖRSEM Campus on 20 May 2016. This paper tries to portray these meetings by reflecting stories behind the arrangements in detail.
