Summary/Abstract: The Starčevo-Criş lithic assemblage discovered in Cristian I site was analyzed in order to determine the technical behavior of Early Neolithic communities. A difference was observed between chipped local rocks in comparison with those brought from long distances. Also, the analysis highlighted some aspects of the tool functionality.
