Summary/Abstract: This paper is an appendix to an exposition given by Alexandr Stich in the commentary to his edition of Kořínek’s work. František Jan Vavák (1741–1816), a farmer and sheriff in the village of Milčice in Central Bohemia, was familiar with Staré paměti kutnohorské (Old Kutná Hora Memories) (1675), a historiographical work written by Czech Jesuit Jan Kořínek (1626–1680), quoting it in his writings many times. It seems that Vavák was familiar with several copies of Kořínek’s work. Vavák mentions Kořínek and his work for the first time in 1781, but he probably knew it earlier. A copy of Staré paměti kutnohorské which belonged to Vavák was described in 1939. Vavák’s notes in this copy illustrate his interest in Kořínek’s work.
