The discourse of love in the poem in prose and in the lirical novel

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is analyzing the genesis of the discourse of love in border-genres, such as poem in prose and lirical novel. Evolutionary line of the discourse of love, precisely distinguished from love tematic, is been percieved throught the prism of twoo serbian literary works – poem in prose Pastirka, written by Vasa Živković, and lirical novel Mansarda, written by Danilo Kiš. Poem in prose Pastirka, written probably in 1838, and lirical novel Mansarda, written in 1959/1960, represent stages in the development of the discourse of love. These literary works are marked by poetical caracteristics: incorporation of antique love narrativ Dafnid and Hloja, poetical myth about Orpheus and Euridica, and also by the phenomenon that Gaston Baschelard naimed „Ofelia’s complex“. The specific line of the discourse of love is been followed and analyzed in this paper, from the begginings of its development, and also in the stage of re-interpreting and re-evaluating its own history
