Health education as a challenge for contemporary physical culture

Summary/Abstract: An attempt to present trends in contemporary physical culture, in the context of the value of health benefits, was the aim of this paper. The unexploited educational potential of physical education, in terms of disseminating the healthy values and difficulties, associated with the implementation of health education by representatives of physical culture profession, was shown in this study. The critical assessment of the development of physical culture in the context of commercialization and moving away from fundamental healthy values for the sporty orientation was made by the author
