Summary/Abstract: Sedat Veyis Örnek is known generally as a scientist that he presented important works about oral folklore. However, Örnek also presented poems, narratives, and kinds of theatre works besides scientific works. For this reason, he should be also evaluated for character of artist nearby scientific works. In this study, three theatre play that were presented by Sedat Veyis Örnek, Kurt, Manda Gözü, and Pirinçler Yeşerecek, were evaluated according to the working subjects about oral folklore. Especially in the Kurt and Manda Gözü plays, It is seen that author was used a lot of components of Anatolia folklore, and combined these components which were folk beliefs, idiom and etc., to the text of the games. But components of folklore were not presented randomly in the plays of Sedat Veyis Örnek, they were presented via synthesising recent events. This results were showed that his games had holistic structures that were not only logical but also universal. In the author’s plays, impression of traditional Turkish theatres are seen according to the shape items. His games had all characteristic features of modern theatre, and also articulated structures and opened forms features of traditional Turkish theatres. In evaluated texts, it was seen that relations between individual and social environments of individual were examined by using langue of humorous. Although Pirinçler Yeşerecek named play was similar to other games of author according to be used image, it was different according to subject. It was seen that all three games insisted especially relations between nature and people, anger and conscience, individual and society. Thus, evaluated games was considered that author’s scientific research area and identity of artist crossed in the text written by author.
