Summary/Abstract: The research identified changes in biological activity of Ukrainian forest-steppe chernozem podzolized under the growing of buckwheat both as the main crops and as the crops of predecessor indicators for enzyme activity and processes of ammonification and nitrification abilities in different farming systems. It was established that the use of buckwheat for the organic system contributed to the increasing of enzymatic activity and ammonification and nitrification abilities of chernozem podzolized
