Summary/Abstract: Subject matter of civilizations and clash of civilizations presented in this article refers to the scientific achievements of Felix Koneczny, supplemented and commented on the contemporary transformation in the civilization by Professor Maciej Giertych.In the following work are shown the civilizations which are the main subject of interest to the journal “Opoka w Kraju”, which are namely: the Western civilization, Turkish civilization, Islamic and Arabic civilization.Both civilizations and civilizations’ conflict have been illustrated with items of Polish-centric and Euro-centric, which can be treated as a lack of objectivity. However, this is a specificity of the journal “Opoka w Kraju”. Description of civilization is mainly based on on the dominant position of Western civilization, so it is a subjective view of the mentioned issues. It also means that jour-nalism provided by “Opoka w Kraju” is a reflection of just part of the Polish society as well as some representatives of the scientific community
