Summary/Abstract: In the article, the theoretical basis of consumer choice and the factors that determine it are studied. The features of behaviour of ultimate users are cleared up, the conditions of consumer sovereignty are defined. It is proved, that consumer choice is determined by constantly increasing global competition, fragmentation of demand and differentiation of supply.
