Summary/Abstract: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the subject of interest of many leading companies in their field of activity. The benefits of its implementation are seen such in the improvement of company’s image, increase of its competitiveness, cost reduction, improvement of the relations with customers, favor of local authorities and local community, and an increase of employees satisfaction, their loyalty and motivation. An integral element of the strategy is the consecutive assessment of achieved social and economic effects. At this point a lot of problems may appear, the most important of which is the selection of appropriate indicators. However, it is worth taking up this challenge, because preparing the report indicates the maturity of Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and becomes a tool for communication and monitoring progress in achieving the set goals.
