Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the specifics of parental attitude, which consists of constant change along with the age of the child and his inevitable separation from his par¬ents. The results of the research showed that during teen age there is an increase of detachment between mothers and their children in the favor of development. There was established a connection between child`s emotional well-being and some char¬acteristics of parental attitudes to teenagers in complete and single-parent families.
