NEW SILK ROUTE: NEW GLOBALISATION?

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to evaluate the global consequences of the New Silk Road. This is a new Chinese project involving international cooperation, the implementation of which included a number of countries.I analyse the geographical scope of the project and the areas concerned: economics, politics, culture. The conclusion is that the New Silk Road is not only about transportation routes but also the new patterns and values of international relations and the related new world order as well as the new globalisation besides those elements that are part of the present.
