Summary/Abstract: The article deals with two erratic boulders that are situated within the area of the peak of Mountain Chełm (German: Gollenberg) near Koszalin; the area is now under the jurisdiction of the (Apostolic Movement of) Schoenstatt (German: Schönstatt) Institute of Mary Sisters. On the boulders there are inscriptions dedicated to two people, Frederick William III (German: Friedrich Wilhelm III), Prussian King, and Heinrich Ludwig Adolph Graf zu Dohna-Wundlacken, Regierungspräsident in Köslin (1818–1831); they were originators of the monument in honour of the inhabitants of Köslin who had died in the Napoleonic Wars in the years 1813–1815. It has been confirmed that the boulders had been set in a place of the stone plinth of what was left of the monument. In 1991 the boulders were taken thence and after a short time placed where they are now.
