“Quarrel Concept” in Çukurova Minstrelsy Tradition

Summary/Abstract: Bickering has a very important place in the traditional folk culture. The first thing in the minstrelsy, world of spirit poured instrument as a change to provide the community with reeds. The second business is a well-known lover of the lover encounters, beat him, “binding” is required. It is possible to take account with the three groups in terms of content. Verse or couplet of poetry competitions among lovers of one another by the same meter reading and responding to a rhyme, asik literature and the public by the most difficult one of the most popular competitions. In minstrel tradition, “encounters” have a special place. Black sea’s asiks, based on the basis of preventing more “karşıberi” or “throwing folk song,” they say. Asiks perform these encounters in a particular system. This flow is not required to be in any confrontation. One of the important stages of the profession of minstrel lover went out of the area where the well-known lovers, or traveling. In this study, we discussed various aspects of the tradition of minstrelsy in Cukurova.
