Summary/Abstract: The author of the article found and identified - in 24 Polish libraries, in a total of some 300 copies - works by Croatian authors originating from the sixteenth to eighteenth century. 26 printed works from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century by authors of Croatian origins dealing with musical topics have beenfound in several dozen copies in 20 Polish libraries. Some authors were certainly not recognised as being of Croatian origins (that is particularly true for Patrizi, Micalia and Baglivi, treated in international scholarship prevalently as Italian authors). In the article, the general features of these particular works and the character of their musical contents as well as a brief information about some of the Polish libraries where they are held have been presented.
