DRAMATIS PERSONA IN THE PLAY MASKA BY MILOS CRNJANSKI

Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we discussed the character of Generalica Adа, an aristocrat from Rome. The main part of the analysis includes interpretation of the character through the specificity of given relations: Generalica’s attitude towards the human, temporal, spatial and subject dimensions, as well as the ratio of the opposing forces in Generalica’s inner world, which allowed the detection of archetypal and individual layers in the psychological structure of the character. The aim was to present psychological and physical anguish of dramatis personae, which, as concluded, manifested in relation to the male principle and through the relationship towards our own (im)possibilities.
