Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we studied the vision of the world in the collection of poetry Iron Plantage by Vasko Popa. After the introductory part, where we presented the main biographical and bibliographical facts about the poet, we dealt with the study and analysis of the emblem which is located at the beginning of the collection, as well as its relation with the themes of the collection Iron Plantage. After pointing out certain common elements of the emblems and poems which make up this collection, we dealt with the interpretation of the poems, where the main characteristics of this book of poetry are noticed. The poetic world of the Iron Plantage was made of mechanics and alchemy. Vasko Popa uses these verses to point out the danger of the modernization of the world and everything that a modern man must deal with and that threatens his survival, life, and identity.
