Summary/Abstract: This paper is an attempt to percive a crisis that was plunged into the reading culture in the modern age, with special reference to the "death" of the reader, indicating certain aspects that are possible causes and reflections. The paper tries to point out the emergence of "copycat" which has replaced "genuine reader", as well as on specific situations and conditions that are favorable for this phenomenon.
