The Effects of Fashion in the Cutting Technique of Traditional Woman’s Clothing

Summary/Abstract: This article will describe conventional and modern cutting techniques on woman wear. Conventional geometric cutting techniques and “coupe” cutting techniques will be compared. Conventional geometric cutting techniques, suffered by the change in effect with the West fashions, will be discussed. As a result of this, change will be discussed that has led to a hybrid result of some applications developed. We will focus on the format change of garments that are experiencing a transition period.
