Justice, the Basis for Reconciliation: Finding Solutions in the Maze of Violence

Summary/Abstract: Reflection concerning the understanding of justice allows for the development of the assumption concerning the development of the peace process in communities affected by (ie. experiencing) violence. In addition, there is a need to determine the scope of the conflict for the needs of education, legal and institutional framework, which lead to the realization of contracts and the consolidation of the peace process. All these details define the basic parameters of the mechanism of reconciliation, defined here as the restoration of inter-human relations, based on diversity and the recognition of man as a human being, which implies the ethical assessment of the whole process.
