Summary/Abstract: The Church of the Reformed Franciscans in Węgrów is an important part of the cultural heritage of the Węgrów and its region. The article presents the question of the relation between the theological and artistic ideas that determined the decor of the church. The church is a good example of an interpenetration of the baroque splendor and Franciscan humility.
